Step 2: Initial Assessment

Your first session is a chance to learn what brings you in and how we can best serve you. We’ll talk through your concerns, history, and goals, and discuss how counseling may help. This is a collaborative conversation—not a test or evaluation.

Step 3: Ongoing Counseling

If we decide to move forward together, sessions focus on meaningful, practical change. We work at a pace that respects your readiness while remaining intentional about progress. Sessions are structured, thoughtful, and responsive to your goals.

Step 4: Review of Progress

From time to time, we pause to review what’s working, what’s changed, and what may need adjustment. Counseling is not meant to be open-ended—we believe in measuring progress and staying aligned with your goals.

Step 5: Completion or Transition

Counseling may conclude when goals are met, when you feel confident moving forward independently, or when another form of care is more appropriate. Endings are planned and intentional, not abrupt.

Christian Faith-Integrated Counseling (Optional)

For clients who desire it, Christian faith can be thoughtfully integrated into counseling in a way that respects clinical standards and individual beliefs. Faith is never assumed and is only included at your request.
